In-game mic volume too quiet? Nobody can hear me

My mic works fine on other applications like Discord and with other games on steam, it's just this game in particular. I changed my input volume on steam from 100% to 200% (max), still everyone I meet says they can barely hear me at all. Any fix?

I also found that when I use the in-game mic test in the settings, my mic volume only goes up to 1-4%, again no idea why this is happening. Pls help!

use OBS to increase your voice volume and then use OBS as your in game microphone

easier way I'd say would be something like Voicemeeter

For me it helped to enable 3D headset sound to hear other's better, we ran into this problem as well in our lobby and that was our way of fixing it
