Why are people so toxic in this game especially??

Why are people in this game so toxic? I genuinely don't understand it.

Dead by Daylight is the main game I usually play. DbD is known to be super toxic, but I feel like I've had way more extreme toxic experiences in Deceit than DbD.

Like earlier I had a match where I was the infected, as soon as the match started I went to the shop like usual and it gave me the player tracker, I didn't want it so I just tossed it onto some player at random, and immediately he got so upset about it and starting being toxic, saying the n-word, cursing me out, and killing me trying to vote me out. Another player was trying to defend me and ask why they were killing me, but then someone else started being toxic and cursing them out.

later my teammate died and everyone figured out I was the last infected, so I tried hiding, it was like a 5v1 and when they found me and killed me the same guy from earlier that was asking why they were killing me, also started being toxic started calling me stupid and stuff??

Every time I load into a match I hope to just have a chill normal game, sometimes it happens, but most of the time, it doesn't.

I only have 4 hours on this account and yet I already have so many toxic experiences, this isn't the only one. Deceit is genuinely a super fun game to me, I love it. But the toxic community ruins so much of that fun for me, it's so hard to enjoy this game because nobody actually tries to play it, and everyone's just toxic.

ikr theres alot of toxic players in this game who will vote you for having no mic , for having a skin , for playing lisa , ect !! but i also do find alot of good player matches

As a DBD player myself. sure it's toxic but reality it's just survs and killer mains crying about each others builds and play style in a video game NOTHING ELSE! - that being said you wouldn't have survived a day in Deceit 1 that was extremely toxic, ppl would go a great length to make sure they gained others trust, they took it so seriously like nothing else i've ever played before, (and yes i did play CoD MW2 on xbox 360)

During the late hours of the evenings, EU and NA lobbies would merge together creating utterly chaos, the reason why Deceit 2 is better in terms of toxicity . is because nobody actually liked the game (it's nowhere close like Deceit 1), so that core fan-base Deceit 1 had never carried over. to make matters worse it didn't help when they made an overhaul of Deceit 1's gameplay and system completely destroying the things that made it great,
i'm still to this very day confused to why that decision was ever made,

i know the "legacy mode" was announced for Deceit 2, if it actually the real OG mode
NOT the overhauled one, they it will gain a great deal of popularity again, but a part of me also thinks it's too late for that now to ever happen, but who knows,

Deceit 2 community is racist and homophobe af, lots of new players tend to think this is cod and end up shooting everyone during first day, but you are quite wrong if you think dbd is less toxic than d2. The level of entitlement in dbd is huge.

And its not a issue of deceit2 community, its a reflect of how society is changing. I used to main Lisa on d1 and got focused on many matches. Newest survivor in dbd is a trans women and there are several posts and comments on how are they gonna make whoever picks her miserable. I have Beck's pride skin as one of my 4 faves and I can assure you most of the times I dont get down for it.

Usually cause they can get away with it, also cause people are idiots and very petty when it comes to deception games, I've had some matches back in deceit 1 where people would fully refuse to vote someone out or defend someone cause that person killed them 3 matches ago or did something to them that they didn't like.
