On a side note, the developers are not the ones handling bans, that's on the moderation team ^^
Have a good day
Not sure what OP is on about, but the Money hungry part I can agree with. I purchased Deceit 1 only for it to go free to play some time later, while being filled with micro-transactions.
Deceit 2 also released as a paid game, now gone free to play.
The pattern is clear, they release the game get as much sales money as they can from the paid version, once that dries up, they go free 2 play, to cash in on microtransations.
You have the choice of either giving feedback about the game through the channels that exist, or to just not play the game.
Going Free 2 Play was definitely the right choice for D1 and for D2.
Why?
Very simple, Queue health.
Smaller games like this end up dying too fast because they require larger player populations to keep up. A lot of BR games ran into this issue and solved it by saturating matches with bots.
Now that of course works ina BR because the game is simple, drop, grab stuff, shoot people.
But when it comes to something like deceit you cant really easily replace natural players with artificial ones in order to help with matchmaking timers, so the only other option is to make access to the game easy and get revenue to support the game through other means.
You call the devs greedy as if they were somehow doing something terrible in order to make money, when in truth D2 has pretty fair monetization setup.
Of course the devs have to somehow make money, they cant just live off of nothing.
You can complain all you want about microtransactions, the truth is that without them games like this would not be able to receive continuous updates because people need to pay rent and eat.
Lmao i did not need an explanation on why this game is ass we know
