Had that issue with Genshin before and it still makes no sense why logging in/Signing up through a Google account which uses a "@gmail.com" address is different then just inputting email and password. Any feedback would be great
Perfect World Games is a Beijing based Chinese company created in 2004, and are the makers of an MMO called Perfect World. Hotta Studio, the developer of this game, is one of the subsidiaries owned by Perfect World.
Ok so I went along with the process and since the transfer page had a proper "sign in with your BLANK account" I was able to hopefully link both the google account and steam account since I never made a perfect world games sign up. So if all goes well I should hopefully be good as well as everyone else that had my type of situation.
Really wish these devs wouldn't follow this same issue with their F2P game account bindings but I hope this reply can help others who are confused
I was also confused at the lack of a way to actually create a Perfect World account or even link an existing one if anyone has it, so I can only assume that a new Perfect World Games account will be created for us when the transfer happens. I doubt our Level Infinite accounts will disappear because they have other games we can choose, so deleting that wouldn't make sense for them.
