oh god I watched Rich for the twitch drops.. muted him after listening to him for 10 minutes, what an obnoxious ass. Unless it was the guy he raided when he stopped streaming, I dont really recall, muted them both.

Rich can be humorous, but overall I don't enjoy him unless he's talking with asmon or someone else to bounce off of. By himself he is a touch annoying, I agree. I never watch the streams for twitch drops lol, 144p in the background gang, xD

This game is way more forgiving than other gacha's. Compared to genshin it's alot easier to deal with and you aren't pulling for chars and weapons individually, you just pull for the weapon itself in the form of a character. Plus if you explore you'll get at least over 200 gold's and a small chance with blacks at getting an SSR.

I've played a few gachas casually and never ever have I been able to earn a top tier unit within the first two days of play. of course ToF could make new chars that negate these SSRs they've allowed us to get early on, but it still feels great having a current top tier character for $0 spent. I spent months on OPTC saving all the free gems to finally get a decent crew :/ ToF seems quite f2p friendly which I like!

One Piece Treasure Cruise. Mobile gacha game, first one that really hooked me. Played f2p for 3-4 months saving up all my f2p currency for an anniversary event and came out with some solid pulls. But I basically quit after that because I realized I only really enjoyed pulling the banners and not the gameplay so much. At least with ToF I enjoy the gameplay a lot. So even when I have 0 pulls I'm having fun just playing the game.

asmon is lost. He preaches how bad those games are and that they should be banned while he goes on streaks paying. No, he doesn't make anyone aware that it's bad, we know it is. He keeps spending and gambling just to feed off his addiction. My problem is not that obviously he makes those videos and then profits from idiots subbing him (Then he uses their cash to gamble in those games) but is the fact that he preaches something, but in the end he's a hypocrite for some views.

He could find a thousand other games to play or stream about and still make money, but instead he chooses to fulfil his gambling addiction by calling it righteous because it "raises awarness". Bunk!

If he was true to it, he'd have said "Fok it" and move on, he'll make the same money and more and actually not lose followers by streaming something else. The word gacha would be less known if it wasn't for ppl like asmon, yet he claims he just shows how bad it is. He only makes it more popular.

Honestly if you watch these streamers pay thousands of dollars and then see the meager rewards they get from it and your response to that is "Wow I should do that too!" then you were going to waste your money on dumb stuff no matter what Asmogus did. Don't blame them for doing what gets views.

I dropped in to watch his stream for a bit. Felt like watching a child trying to pretend like he's above having fun in a kid's game to impress the cool kids. Not saying he's actually pretending, but that was the impression he gave off.

I swear it was incredibly awkward every time he tried to preach that spending in gacha is bad. It just doesn't land when he's $1000 deep and coming up with strats to optimize his spending.

Yeah, it's kinda like the preacher warning you about street-walkers, yet he drives them home every night.

Well, this is the thing. The Preacher has excess money to spend on them, money he got from his supporters. So it still should make sense not do do what the preacher does, but that would require people having some understanding.
