We should stop companies from milking players, how dare bli$$ard to milk us like that using OW2, how dare Valve milk us like that with CS:GO cases...
Companies trying to milk players even if that means destroying a game/franchise are everywhere nowdays, is not even tied to lootboxes or gacha games anymore, guess you just realized it
This is what the videogame industry has become
If you want a real P.C MMORPG, wait for Blue Protocol.
The problem is that developers and publishers are investing less and less on NON MOBILE games compared to the past. And so it gets difficult to find a game on PC/Consoles that pleases you. In the past few years mobile gaming has exploded not because people wants it, but because it is more PROFITABLE for who make the games for it.
We are in an age where make videogames is not longer about fun, entertianment and creativity, but to MILK its community of gamers.
I bet Overrwatch 3 is going to be MOBILE LOL
Yeah, and on top of it it is also insanely priced. Say, you went all in for Saki Fuwa, current limited banner, and spent nearly all your DC and red summons. Next banner you are dry, but still want to get the new SSR (LIN). From zero summons, to get a guaranteed copy is going to cost you nearly 150-200 or more EU. Are you kidding me? 200 EU for a character? And every 20 days there is another SSR coming, yet another 200$? LOL
And ppl keep saying, "hey it is a gacha" or " how can they make money" ?!?!? LMAO!
Was it maybe 50eu, it'd be somewhat still debatable, but at least not a scam.
2. the game can also be played well even if you are not a whale.
3. It's a free game, they can't "milk you" without your decision, and then it's your own fault. if you can't control yourself. ditch freetoplay/gatcha/Mobil games etc.
and of course companies make games for the mobile phone market. because after all everyone has one and the mobile games market makes billions. sometimes more than the PC market. and all companies do it primarily to make money and not to entertain the player. and games like candy crush and clash of clans, where there seem to be a lot of people spending millions for it, don't make the games market any better. of course the market reacts. so the consumer is always partly to blame for which direction the game companies go. because in the end they go the way of all other companies, the way of profit, why should the game company be an exception.
I've only been playing since about the Steam release
and as a freetoplay player. so don't have much from me. so I have to see how Tower of Fantasy continues, so far i've had enough of the black, yellow, and red balls for the gatchas.
for a gacha they are pretty much free to play Friendly that surprised myself and stuck with the game. The graphics and story aren't bad either. I at least like it better than Genshin Impact. if the freetoplay game is worth it i'll spend money too. but mostly just as much as I would buy a triple A game or less.
Embracer Group, not Tencent.
Level Infinite is owned by Tencent, because Tencent was the one who made the name in the first place and also Level Infinite is fact Tencent Games, since Level Infinite is a global publishing brand for Tencent Games.
