Content gets oudated quickly and deserted, endgame players keeps doing the same small cycle.
ToF wants to be an mmo, but has the worst aspects combined: the gacha and dead contents that no one do.
People always tell you the same like "bruh, you don't even need to swipe" or "just join an active server" which is complete bs.
A successful mmo has to stay relevant in early, mid and end game ALWAYS. Without the early and mid players you just keep the remaining loyal players that ultimately get bored and quit, resulting in this wasteland we know now.
Worst of all, the game was incredibly fun up to 2.0, but they never learned a thing with the co-op purple chests that nobody bother anymore, the minibosses that are hard to solo, the world bosses that no one cares anymore.
Worse, it should not even be allowed to exists for how badly it is monetized.
Everything is built around micro transaction, from A to Z.
Here's one of the problem OP. Outdated views.
The game has now "World Levels" so you can actually clear exploration points that needs to clear a timed battle or minibosses. They are designed to be cooped but now u can solo it.
Doesn't change this though..
Maybe if they didn't try to constantly milk players, there wouldn't be so much "outdated takes".
Oh the world might be finally scaled which should of been done all the way back in 2.0, but I guess they did something? Or they waited till 2.5 to direct port.
Another significant frustration was the lag experienced in certain game modes, such as Void Abyss. Furthermore, despite being an MMORPG, the game often felt empty due to the servers' inability to handle a large number of players in one place. This persistent issue greatly diminished the overall gaming experience.
I agree with you that the game has great potential, with beautiful graphics and decent character design. However, it seems that the continuous mishaps have been detrimental to the game's overall quality.
However, I've been playing this game since its initial launch, and I've managed to whale out for the character they labeled as "Limited." But now, that character has become a standard banner. It's so weird; I just don't know what they were thinking
It is a damn shame, they dare to charge 100-200 usd for a character skin while running the server on the cheapest hardware to have a lag festival.
This is a mobile gacha trash game, ported on PC, and it runs horrendously.
This hotta trash and its publisher must disappear and the name forgotten for good.
yea bury your head in the sand and just experience things that may be a waste of time for you instead of trying to save the ultimate currency (time) by not wasting it on a inferior product what ever that may be.
I saved the gems for months just to lose literally every 50/50 and if you cant hit pitty all your coins getting transformed to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ones.
This game is just a scam
Yeah, that's exactly how i got fooled. Never played a gacha before, so I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Aside the gacha scam and shameful monezation, the game is far from being an MMO. So even false advertise. It is more like an online RPG.
