Can't fish, can't buy fishing rod.
I can't fish in this game because I can't buy a fishing rod. The fishing rod in the store says "sold out" even though I didn't buy one and don't have one, so I basically can never fish.
any ideas?

Just a hunch, but did you unlock mirroria yet?

Maybe it's locked until you progressed the story far enough that you rest on your apartment once.

I have unlocked mirroria but no appartment. I'll look into that.

I unlocked the apartment and explored and built on artificial island and still can't buy a fishing pole. I tried contacting support, but as we all know there isn't any.
