Nah, it still happens even if I change it to 1080p. I'm on a 3080 Ti and 3700x, so I don't think it's on my end. It's just Mirroria's entrance. Everywhere else is fine, including in Mirroria itself.
I know some people have been having problems, but at least for me both RTX and DLSS seemed to be working completely fine, and now even after they reverted back to DX11 I'm still not having any issue with DLSS. But not that I'd use it without RTX anyway.
I do hope RTX comesback eventually because the game overall looks very nice.
The game before 2.0 was released I was running at a stable 60 fps. In 2.0 everything is stuck, I had fps drops to 50 and 40. It was horrible to play like that.
I wrote an email to the game support and they gave me very vague solutions to check the internet, lower the quality of the game...
I was about to uninstall the game and I don't know why I checked the steam discussions section. I started looking if anyone was going through the same thing and found your post.
I couldn't be more grateful. I did exactly what you share and to be honest, I thought, it won't even work xd
When the game loads everything is now running at a stable 60fps. It goes like silk. Everything goes smoothly even in combat as before.
In the futuristic city it was where I had the most drops in fps and now it is stable at 60fps
:)
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge.
It's kind of sad that outsiders have to fix this and not the company.
In overwatch 2 I have the same problem. In overwatch 1 everything was fluid at 60fps and now in 2 I have drops to 50. In the forums and support nobody has been able to help or solve that problem.
Anyway, thank you very much for helping Tower players, I was already thinking about quitting the game. But now I'm going to play it more than ever.
Thank you very much!!! :)
Turns out that it, in fact, was on my end. I don't know when or even how, but my RAM got reset back to factory speed (2.1k). I set it back to the 3.6k it should be at, and now even Mirroria's entrance is a stable 60fps after a few seconds.
Very weird. I don't know if it was the game that caused it or something else, but perhaps people might want to check their RAM to make sure it's set to the correct speed.
Haven't messed around with XMP in so long I completely forgot it existed lmao, thanks for the update chief!
Before the game will eat up to 10GB VRAM on my GPU (I never experienced a crash, but I did notice it was using an excessive amount of VRAM).
Now the game won't ever use more than 6GB VRAM on mirroria @ 4k extreme everything w/ DLSS.
I didn't try t he stuttering fix. I stopped using the steam version. I'm just gonna use it when I need to top-up
I don't believe so I haven't been banned and I did this like 2 days ago, several other people have also done it weeks ago without any issue, however keep in mind you are doing this at your own risk and you can just disable DLSS.
im using rtx 3080 on an i9 - 12900 / 32gb of ram
