Potential & Memory Leak + Stuttering Fix [See Post]
I managed to fix my stuttering as initially my game was unplayable and full of hitching on a 3080 + i9900k

Memory Leak Fix:

Caused by DLSS for some reason and can be mitigate quite easily by disabling DLSS from the options or alternatively replacing the DLL from the game folder.

Download the latest DLSS .dll from here:
https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/

Navigate to your game install path, here is mine as an example:
E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Tower of Fantasy\Tower of Fantasy\Engine\Plugins\Runtime\Nvidia\DLSS\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64

Replace the nvngx_dlss.dll inside the folder with the one you have downloaded from tech power up. Do so by either deleting the file from the folder and replacing it with the .zip or by copying the file from the .zip to the folder itself.

Stutter Fix:

Ok I dare say it worked, before I used the config FPS was disgusting, jumping everywhere. Now after I used it, its actually buttery smooth, there was initial load stutter where I just sighed but then I noticed it completely stabilised which is fantastic. I should add I am very perceptive of hitching and stuttering as it really bothers me

Here is what I did, step by step.

Head to the following path:
C:\Users\yourusernamehere\AppData\Local\Hotta\Saved_Steam\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Open Engine.INI and head use the lines from this pastebin.

https://pastebin.com/jTh3uatM

Copy everything in there and paste it below the core system mumbo jumbo, like shown in the screenshot below:

https://prnt.sc/t8sKpecMiw9B

Then just start the game, once it loads it might hitch momentarily whilst it loads assets but afterwards it should hopefully run smoothly for you as well.

Let me know if it helps.

EDIT:

I forgot to list the presets for some of the stutter fixing configs:
https://www.reddit.com/r/TowerofFantasy/comments/wpaozv/ue4_engine_tweaks_guide_to_improving_graphics_and/

In the aforementioned threat you can see several configs. I am currently running the extreme LOD + stutter fix config which works flawlessly.

I'm trying to find a good configuration for my Engine.ini but so far they all keep sluttering. The one you posted has more delay than without it. So far the only option that really left no sluttering is this command:
r.ScreenPercentage=66

But it leaves the quality very bad.

My computer is an i3, 8gb ram and rx6400 4gb

Just so you know, that engine.ini edit ♥♥♥♥♥ with the claw machine in the floating island.

I just use my phone when I want to use it lol

It depends which config you use, forgot to link this:

I tried a different config, precisely the extreme one from here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/TowerofFantasy/comments/wpaozv/ue4_engine_tweaks_guide_to_improving_graphics_and/

It keeps the graphics high but the stutter is not present.

Hello!! Thanks a lot it helped a lot now the game doesn't crash :) As you said the game crashes a little when opening, but after that it's great I just have one criticism to make. Although the configuration worked very well, my computer is very limited, causing the processor to be almost always at 100% (before it was between 60 and 80), so I wanted to know if it is possible to configure it for more limited computers that I will not use dx12, for example.

My specs:
I7 -5500U
8GB RAM DD3
NVIDIA GEFORCE 920M

I believe you can, I edited the post to include a Reddit thread which has a lot of configs which are tweaked with fixes, I recommend checking some of them out if you dont mind lower graphics. Also I recommend capping FPS to 60 if you are CPU limited should help with fluctuations!

I'll check the reddit post to see if I can get a better "performance". Regarding my fps I already limited it to 45 so my processor didn't reach 100% but unfortunately with this configuration it goes back to 100% but I'll take a look at the reddit post thanks

No problem man, glad it helps a little should definitely be some way to reduce the CPU usage by limiting FPS or what not.

Disabling DLSS has significantly improved the issues I had after the update. Game runs smooth just like before.

Seems to be working with steam version. Paste from the reddit post under the "Engine.ini (cont). Optimizations:". No such horrible stutters like before.

But standalone version still runs smooth. Without any tweaks.

Problem is, whenever i disable DLSS ingame, its activated again when i start the game again...

Honestly i'm so done with the game at this point, i'll give the Stand Alone Client another shot and if that wont work, i'm done.

I never had any memory problems on the official launcher but for whatever reason it would still crash (with no error) after playing for an hour or two, or if I booted up certain things like Discord or Windows settings. On that client I didn't really have a problem with stuttering, but I switched to the Steam client to see if the crashes would still occur and so far it seems like the issue isn't present.

But the stuttering was pretty bad, and this fix almost entirely removed it. It still stutters from time to time but for the most part it's completely stable in 4k@60fps on max settings without DLSS on, so thanks for this. Much appreciated.

The entrance to Mirroria, though... I assume it's just bad optimization, but I still get stuttering there with or without DLSS on (happened on the other client too). It's pretty bad when loading in. It'll somewhat stabilize itself after a few seconds, but it doesn't stay 60fps and can dip into the 40s. Outside of the entrance, however, it's pretty stable at 60.

It could just be due to the game running at 4K, I would say that is the potential cause if anything. I haven't gotten to Mirroria yet so I haven't done any testing but every other place has been fine with ocassional hitches. I think when this game came to Steam something happened patch wise that broke a few things. RayTracing is also disabled and nowhere to be seen as the game is running in DX12.
