Game wont launch

So I run the game, it runs the launcher. I log in with "Steam" option, then I click Launch.

It just closes the launcher and the game doesn't start, what gives?

better than my attempt. The launcher is set to a predetermined size at 3840x2890 (or whatever that common res is) which restricts the screen to even seeing the launch button. Biggest disappointment this month, i may as well seek a girlfriend if i wanna be this disappointed

For anyone encountering a similar issue, I temporarily resolved it by going into "Steam\steamapps\common\Tower of Fantasy\Tower of Fantasy\Launcher" and setting tof_launcher "Compatibility mode" to Windows 8.

i tried that and it said launcher it from steam
