Game crashing/freezing PC after closing

It seems like any time I or my wife close the game it messes everything up. It just causes my entire PC to lock up and her laptop to BSOD. Anyone know why or how to fix it? We're not using DLSS as our graphics cards just aren't that advanced, so that doesn't seem to be a fix.

this is a known issue caused by their "anticheat". if you're on windows 10 or 11 the 22H2 update seems to fix the blue screen of death issue, for anyone else we're screwed until the developer fixes the busted anticheat or replaces it with something less broken (and more effective)

they claim it's a compatibility issue with windows and have thus far refused to do anything about it.

This might be what fixed it for my wife. After she got the 22H2 update it hasn't done it since. Mine started BSOD'ing suddenly today and I've yet to get the update, so maybe it'll help.

Memory Leak Fix:

Caused by DLSS for some reason and can be mitigate quite easily by disabling DLSS from the options or alternatively replacing the DLL from the game folder.

Download the latest DLSS .dll from here:
https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/

Navigate to your game install path, here is mine as an example:
E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Tower of Fantasy\Tower of Fantasy\Engine\Plugins\Runtime\Nvidia\DLSS\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64

Replace the nvngx_dlss.dll inside the folder with the one you have downloaded from tech power up. Do so by either deleting the file from the folder and replacing it with the .zip or by copying the file from the .zip to the folder itself.
