So Many People Lost Their Accounts This Week

People auto-logged out from their account when they log in again they couldn t see any characters or progression. Accs literally got reset and they act like nothing happened or as i heard they are saying "we can t do anything just create a new account" kinda thing. They prob lost the data for some reason and just lying ab it as usual. I m just sad they did that before I got the double sword, i was going to continue to play the game even i knew it s a cash grab buggy game with decent combat with horrible development management history. But it doesn t seem like they care lost accounts.

1: Feels like ppl aren't actually using the Correct Login
2: Seems like ppl aren't even logging into the correct World
3: Show your evidence of ppl losing their account because I don't see any much Discussing/Traffic of this Issue anywhere from the Official Reddit, Discord and Twitter.

Sounds more like User Fault for not actually Binding their Account. Seen this Happen to the likes of Genshin, Azur Lane, Arknights, FateGrandOrder and Girls Frontline.
People only used like 1 Login but never bother to Fully bind it properly, Bind with all available Social Link or using the Guest Login and not actually Binding at all.

Apparently they were using previously hacked short passwords.
On the other side, the game from the first start does not offer 2FA login, you have to set it up by binding it with a Google/Twitter account, etc.

ur way of trying to defend them is really pathetic. Sorry but WTH is that "Fully binding" mean?? U are supposed to use one login not use 6 different external service accounts to login. I created my Genshin account the time game launched and it still exists even tho i didn t play it again after 3 months. Either u are trying so hard or u are really stupid.

The one is stupid is you.
People with common sense would do multiple Binding instead of leaving it on a single binding.
The Mobile games I mentioned particularly AzurLane and Arknights example, ppl did a Full Binding of YoStar, Twitter and Facebook to prevent account loss.
Typical User Error always deflect the blame away from themselves and blame it on the Company.
Sounds to me ppl complaining are ppl trying to Reroll accounts and selling said accounts.

So u are basically saying Mobile game developers are more careless than PC developers so I need to be more cautious ab things that I normally shouldn't be just cuz developers can t hold on to my data? U sound more stupid with every sentence u make. This is not even a frikin mobile game and launched as a cross-platform. The idea of "mobile games are low on quality in every aspect when u compare to PC and it's normal" is so degenerate. Like do u have a communication problem or something cuz i literally indicated I never experienced something like that with any game of any genre of any platform whether PC or mobile.(edit : oh sorry i didn't say that i just gave an example of that since i thought one good example would be enough for you(

This is a mobile game.
To the point of PC port having touch screen UI remnants.

People didn't lose theirs accounts only this week.
In my case my account as been lost since the artificial island update (a day after to be exact), the 09/16/2022.
Since then the support kept blaming me non stop for lack of security until just recently where they said that they were investigating the case.
Yeah, still losing my account for 20 days when the game has not been released (global release) for 60 days.
So don't trust custom ToF account. Just create one using the G button at least it's safe (or just don't play the game they do not deserve our time, money and support).

I literally wrote them today, something like "I saw many posts that says u don t know anything ab it and can't to anything. ofc my data magically disappeared it makes sense. But just i m just saying if it's still the case please continue and delete my whole data and delete my whole account. what a waste of time"

One thing that seems strange to me about the whole linking process of this game that a lot of people are advising to do is that when you go to the link account window there is a text there that tells you "You can only link a new account"

Mine is on spanish but is pretty much the same on english:

So questions are:

What happen if some dude links his lvl 70 char account full of weapons and stuff to one of those platforms?
I mean if the game is telling you to only link a new account, that could be interpreted as
"Don't link an old account.."

Of course someone may argue that they meant "already linked account" or something like that or that maybe is just a translation error. Still the sentence seems very clear to me.

Also, was that message always there or they just put it now?

I think it means you can only link 1 social network account.
General recommendation is that you do so and then "unlink" the custom account, as the latter lacks 2FA and can be hacked, but they cannot hack your social network account from the game.

So once you link with, say google account, if the account is linked by both custom and social, you will have progress in both of them, but still hackable, once you unlink the custom account, every time you open your launcher and want to login to the game, you will have to login with your social network.
Once you do, all of your progress will be there.

Edit: yes, you are basically transferring your progress from the custom account to social, in order to safeguard the security of your account.
This is how they have stolen and reseted the progress of other custom accounts.

Edit 2:
If you do this on your own, you will have no problem, because you know what you are doing.
If you do nothing, and let the hacker find your account and do the same thing, then consider your account lost...
