I have just now tested this. It definitely just fixed my BSOD since fucking launch. I'm still going to keep Throttle Stop in case Hotta tweaks their anti-cheat to do some stupid shit again for the 22H2 update.
At the moment, if you are able to get the 22H2 update, I'd recommend getting it. It seems to fix it entirely.
Some people say that on windows 10 and 11 there's an update (22h2) that seems to fix the issue, but not everyone has 10/11. store page says it supports win 7 as the minimum OS, which I currently have myself. I would like to get 10 but microsoft announced end of support for that as well within 3 years, but despite that still charging well over $100 for a licence key, so doesn't feel worth getting unless they seriously slash the price on a key since i'm on a tight budget to begin with. can't get 11 because my CPU isn't new enough to be compatible. 11 has a CPU feature requirement that didn't exist on CPUs when my system was built.
point is tho their anticheat is causing BSOD on systems that don't have anything even remotely cheat related installed (let alone even running) on them and that is a problem that needs to be addressed. The added irony is, from what I've been hearing anyways, cheating has been somewhat rampant and not all that difficult either despite this root level anticheat. While this one should be fixed, at the same time I can't help but feel they'd still be better off looking into adopting a more effective and less busted anticheat system.
I'm on win 7 myself so the 22H2 update for win 10/11 won't fix anything for myself in the meantime, and I can't justify spending well over $100 on a windows 10 key when they've announced end of support already in 3 years for it to try and force 11 onto people... which sucks because 11 has a hardware requirement that most people don't meet unless they're using a pretty much brand new system to begin with. (one of the requirements has to do with the CPU and a feature that didn't exist on them until about a couple years ago apparently, and my system is older than that.)
if they cut licence key price for 10 by a serious amount considering the expiration date they've slapped on it I'll see about getting it, but in the meantime... *sigh*

for what? was it really needed to bump this for nothing?
Clearly something is wrong with Battleye. I'm removing it asap and never putting that garbage on any of my computers ever again. I'd rather play offline indefinitely.
about the bsod problem, make sure to have installed latest win 10/11 22h2 update, usually that fixes the problem!
most cased ur bluescreen is caused by a conflict or hardware and software.
Software is on the kernel level. i only have the tof anticheat bluescreen my pc when i loaded another game next to it that also uses its own sys anticheat.
just sharing my experience with the game.
Wanting to play the game.
Controller support any better?
Thank you
Rampant BSOD stopped after the first month of release (standalone release not steam). There was also a windows update at that time so it could be that.
Controller support still sucks. CN version is getting better support though so maybe 2 months more at minimum before global gets it.
with respect to the controller, it will not be improved.
