watchdog violation blue screen can mean multiple things:
- corrupted system files
- problems with your SSD like driver problems or errors
- driver problems with external hardware
do keep in mind that you are pretty much the only one having this problem.
When you see the Violation message, your PC watchdog (aka bug checker) is overwhelmed. Probably because a DPC is running too long a time, or your system is stuck at an interrupt request level (IRQL) of DISPATCH_LEVEL or above. [1]"
Do the usual, check your Drivers and update them.
Check Device Manager that the new Drivers are installed and not just the Windows Update ones.
Remove old Hardware 5+ Years one by one and see if it is fixed.
As some Hardware no longer plays nicely with newer Windows Versions.
Also check that you have all necessary runtimes installed and up to date.
I recommend downloading "All-in-One Runtimes" as an universal installer to get and install all necessary Runtimes.
If all of the above fails, then it might be time to upgrade your Hardware.
You can start with the HDD/SSD or Graphics Card/Processor, or go full PC Upgrade.
Hope that helps.
wtf, game thinking audio driver is a hax ?

Incorrect. This has been happening for ages since launch. You can search reddit, you can even search this steam discussion forum. It's present everywhere.
The fix to this is using Throttle Stop and turning on Speed Shift and setting the EPP to 0. It 100% has nothing to do with our PCs. If I can fix it using an external program, it is the anti-cheat. People have already deduced this, stop making up shit and defending this company's incompetence. There's also a DX12 issue in the Steam version where the Standalone has no issue with, because I believe Standalone doesn't use it. It's a mess.
I've actually talked with staff about this, and unfortunately even though I've found the fix for it. They refuse to change the anti-cheat, because they can't make it work around compatibility, so we just have to bite it and find our own fixes. Or endure the BSOD.
What's happening is that the game forces the CPU to literally go into overdrive, which is normal, but it doesn't turn it off upon exiting from the game. So when you go to turn off your PC or restart, the shit goes haywire and BSODs, because it's still "running" an application in the BG, aka the literal kernel level ass ksophon_x64.sys file.
All BSOD logs says that ksophon_x64.sys is the issue. So go ahead and tell me I'm wrong.
I had to make a fresh W11 install in another SSD, I never installed this game again and I haven't had a single BSOD ever since!
If you value your system stability more than this game don't install it! Their anti-cheat could be considered malware, nobody know what it does on your system.
Screw this game! Screw this company! It ain't worth it!
