So how long is it.
Not to judge a game's value by its length, but I'm a bit tired of all the £7 indie games that take 2 hours to beat.

How long does this game take to finish?

I'm fairly quick with games, generally, and it took me the estimated 4.5 hours.
I generally go by £1 per hour for value, but this game definitely has replay value, and the sheer quality makes up for the slight price to time difference on the first playthrough.
How good is it?
I just bought two extra copies.

Not too long, but long enough if you ask me. It took me 6-7 hours, mostly because I'm pretty bad with pixel hunt-type games, and I explored a whole lot. You won't regret buying it.

I do the same thing Katherine. If I spend 10 quid on a game I like to get 10 hours out of it.
Of course, I'll let that slide a bit if the game is really good. :D

Anyways. Seems to be longer than I had assumed so I think I'll pick it up.

Thanks to you both :D
By buying it instead of giving it a miss, you're making the right choice.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, and will again.

I figured it was either get it now for 20% off or wait until Winter for a possible 50%+ off. But I'm too impatient and getting a bit bored of my library. :]

It's not long. What is long is the time that game will stay with you.

Took me just under 4 hours, but believe me and everyone else when we say the story is amazing.

Took 4 to 4.5 hours to finish. I explored a little bit as well. If you like bittersweet/sentimental sort of stuff, I think you'll love this "game" (Sorry. Personally, it's more an interactive story than a game to me) But I LOVED this title, the OST in the bundle is great as well. The story and script is top notch IMO. $10 might be a bit steep for 4 or so hours play but I still think it's worth it. There's a fair bit of detail that you'll miss out on and will pick up with a second playing.I looked on forums and seems I missed a fair bit of detail. Some peoples interpretations varied as well in places. I'm going to replay and see for myself.

At the very least, if you don't like the game, know that you're helping a small guy out. They're the ones that really need our help to get off the ground and make new and better titles in the future.

Took me 3-4 hours. But the story was so captivating this was done in one sitting. This is a story driven game. If you're looking for a challenging puzzle / adventure point 'n' click this is not your game. You get this game for being engrossed and involved in the fantastic story.

You need to view it more as a movie than a game, like you pay 12.50 or however much it is for a hour and a half to 3 hour movie, this is the same thing but a little cheaper for maybe an hour or two more content that you can replay and also get the soundtrack for.

I would never ever pay that much to see a movie. :)

Then I guess you don't go to theaters.

So you've never gone out with friends to the theater on an opening day of a big movie?

Not in several years.

Not too into the movie scene and it's too pricey.
Plus it's very difficult for me to blindly watch movies.

Took me less than four hours. When I have some extra money I plan to gift it to a bunch of people. It's a brilliant game, and for the punch it has, it could be much more money and still be worth it. Braid could be played through faster at the same price or more, and I think this game is better.
