Better to play in one sitting or?

Just got it, from reading lots of reviews and comments I'm in for an emotional rollercoaster. So my question is whether it is better to play it all the way through at once or through several put down and pick ups?

I played it in one sitting, and I felt reborn. I'd say do it in one go for maximum feels

Personally I think it's too long to play in one sitting. If you have a good attention span though it would probably be preferable to play it that way (:

I agree that it can be a little long. You need to set some time apart for it for the best experience.

I played it in two sittings as I can't really devote 4 hours straight to gaming, my advice is to stop just as you're hitting the high school years

Dont force yourself to continue if you're tired, better stop and continue later. That would be most smart thing to do. But i personally finished in one sit :)

If you have the time I recommend doing it in one sitting. If not break it up into two parts if possible stop at high school years.

The guy who recommended this game told me it could be finished in 4 hours, but looking at my log, I've recorded 19. Taking into account me being idle, steam exaggerating the time, it was still at least a 12+ hours playtime. I don't know how you people do it in 4.
