You can strum it, pick like 5-4-3-2 or anything.

Capo 3, metro 80 4/4 (fk it tbh).

Intro (play twice, you can replace '2p3' with just '3'):

Could you clear something up for me? I'm not familiar with guitar tab and its terminology, I'm more comfortable with sheet music. What does '2p3' mean? Do the 1-3 and 1-0 markings on the B string indicate to slur at those frets? If so, how does that work if the capo is on the 3rd fret?

2p3 means pick 2, then slide to 3. About 1-3 and 1-0, it's just misunderstanding, '-' stands for space nothing else. Its relative to capo. Listen to how I play it and you should get it easily :)
