After I woke up in the morning of Act II, I went into the house to the kitchen to find a coworker who was on the phone, and then I couldn't get to the next step.
I've watched a few live gameplay videos and realized that it's just that tapping the rabbit here at the coworker triggers a new conversation and plot, but I can't trigger it here, so is this a bug or a behavioral issue on my part

I know it's been a while and either you've finished the game by now or binned it, but I was stuck here too.

You have to go and find the kids who are sleeping on a sofa in one of the front rooms, then talk to Lily, who will be sitting at the table to the left of the piano.

It's not real intuitive, but after you talk to her you can then interact with Neil.
