been very curious about this area ever since i discovered it, it looks kinda cool. want to know if i can see the inside.

You can only enter from the other side, only then can you use the passage outside.

To get in it's easiest to long jump, high jump then use the drones rockets to get up the last bit.

alternatively do a regular double jump and then a "triple jump" by doing a dive kick and cancelling it with a block

for anyone who still hasn't found it, its kinda easy to run past accidentally or not recognize it immediately:

when entering the factory from the highway, go straight forward past the two brawler enemies on either side of the elevator - you'll see a room behind them with an NPC and a wall you have to get up

specifically, it's the room with all the paintings in it, and a LOT of books strewn across the floor. The npc also has a wide, short, conical hat.
