How do you get more bullets?

Do a Mission, save and exit
Buy the Gun again

From what I understand, there's no way to replenish the gun (short of a new game), however I generally don't go around on serial shooting sprees (except the last guy) and simply use the gun to muscle past people or to back them into doors and knock them out that way.

I have been trying to replay the final mission, but the only time the game is willing to let me shoot is when the killer is on top of me , and if I try to save that bullet, I can't shoot a certain so-and-so. A message appears at the bottom of the screen saying "No Bullets". The game is pretty new, I guess we can't expect it to be perfect.

You know you can actually dodge the guy who jumps on you it is really funny, and you still can't use the gun later. I don't understand it.

The bullets don't seem to replenish, though it seems like the gun is more a tool to keep guards from attacking you (if you don't have any bullets then it's pointless in the last level because they're only Professionals).

The best way to utilize the Resolver is to point it at non-Professional enemies without firing, because if you shoot your gun, a police sniper will appear at the subway at the end of the level.

To make guards not shoot you, obviously. Hell, you can still threaten them without a single bullet and that is a way more useful function of the Resolver than y'know, actually shooting people.

you need to buy the resolver to be able to do the last mission so you can kill or intimidate gessler to drop his gun

Go to level editor, create level with resolver enabled, put batteries in, GET FREE BULLETS AND BATTERIES. Don't mention it :D
