Is the online coop better now?

I saw reviews saying it was bad because there were only Asia servers, but I also saw people now saying an update made it much better? Can anyone confirm?

Movement is client sided now so moving around is responsive, and you can actually find quickmatch games now (at the right time of day) so kind of.
