The battle with a sandship is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying. How do you even hit this thing?

Spent almost an hour trying to defeat that thing as a sandwhail but the hits seems to be random at best. Where do you hit that thing? I wish there were a way to just skip that battle.

You have to hit the jar where the angel is captured. Unfortunately, it is really hard to aim the sand whale correctly and the depth perception is wack. It is probably the most annoying sequence next to the obstacle course in the Vortex

Ok, thanks for the answer. And yeah, the whale comtrols are a bit whaky and it's not easy to calculate the distance.

Ok, I just sorta kinda figured things out. The best way to attack the ship is going up from the bottom of the wormhole and perpendicular to the deck. If you do so it gives you additional boost to speed so it works most of the time. Sadly you can successfully perform this maneuver only when the ship is on the opposite side of the wormhole becase of the awkward camera position.

Controlling the sandwhales is so clunky and only getting two hearts back after you die just makes it even harder.
I really enjoyed this game to begin with but fights like this make me not want to keep going.
