How many hours to complete the game ?

Is it really an idle game or more a programming game ? Some idle games can take you 500-1000+ hours to complete, is that the case for this one ?

I have no experience programming in python and next to no real life experience in programming at all.

I did beat the game in about 15 hours.

Once you have the right code and beaten the game, you can beat the game again in under 60 minute of GAME TIME. If you make the game go faster by clicking a button, it'll take 1-2 minute, something like that.

Generally, even for your first game, you can keep writing code while your drone does something in the background. So the idle time where you're staring at the screen waiting for resources is reduced to a minimum.

This is more of a programming game, not as much an idle game. I have about 9 hours in the game and have been able to automate farming of all but 1 of the resources available in the game. If you are new to programming, it's a great way to learn some of the basics of programming. Even if you have experience in programming, some of the resources provide a fun challenge to figure out how to harvest/solve.
