Ancient Wood?

Tried the Desert and only found olive and a bunch of pom tree which i olive i cant cut yet.
Any Ideas? Lot of ppl say near portal and the skull but i went on a chopping spreed even tried to mine the bones nothing.

What you are looking for are stumps. Not actual trees, you need a bronze axe at least.

Found out they moved them from where old videos and other stuff were

It is a fact, any walkthrough or video is obsolete pre-November. A good way for developers to keep us on our toes and add replayability to people who bought the game early on.
