Edit: Also, FYI, I know Iron is in the legend, but there is none marked. I found some around the Pindus mountain area, but it was before I started making that map and couldn't remember where exactly it was.

Iron is pretty much directly north of your left hand green dot, maybe 1/3 of the way up through the mountains.

Gold is just next to the arch above that.

Apparently there’s clay near the starting lake where you portal in to, but I haven’t really looked for it

Yea, there is clay there. I've found it so often next to rivers and that lake that I didn't bother marking it. Glad to hear about the iron & gold, thanks. Just got home from work, gonna try to get that greater forge going.

Some additions: There's an entire island of hardwood/resin at the far south east
Darkwood/resin is along the path to the forest
Another gold node next to one of the ambrosia braziers in the southern mountains
A big clump of reeds at the river in the forest just near the locked part of the map
Silver node just in the desert from the north-most road into the desert on the west side

Oh, and there's ancient wood/amber all around the desert portal

Awesome, thanks! Yeah I just finished running through the desert. I didn't add it to the map. (I may never so anyone feel free to use it as a starting off point)
Starting at the carcass run north and you'll cross a couple silver nodes. Also the ancient wood almost slipped by me--clusters of tree stumps-- , Fossilized wood I think is what they reference). The ax didn't work on them so I took off (There's a few golems there trying to kill me), but I circled back thinking maybe the pick-axe was required and sure enough that worked.

Is there a portal in the desert? I totally missed that. Found 1 in the NW part of the darkwood forest though.

That's awesome, thanks! First thing I looked for was caves on the big island. Strange there are none. Oh well.

I'll leave the IMGR stuff to someone who will more accurately and cleanly curate it 👍 I DL'd a copy of yours though cause I been running around trying to find all those dang shrines or things u add the stuff to to light on fire. Think I have 13/15. Ran around forever to find more but couldn't find the last ones. So thanks again.
Once the game gets more development it'll probably be pretty big. It's super early still. Hope this one develops faster than Valhiem has been (Val is still great tho).

EDIT: So I've got 14/15 braziers lit now. I think mine may be bugged, tho. The brazier on Pindus Mnt on your map is not there. Theres a couple places with those glowing orbs, 1 being near your marker, but nothing is around them.

Thanks to you all (and some other ressources, like the maps on the Wiki and videos from Jade PG and Ser_Bucky just to name a few), I went above and beyond and created an interactive map for the game, on the official community Wiki , with filters and some comments here and there on the markers:

It's not complete/exhaustive, but it should help (except animals and foraging resources - might add them later along with an update for real game icons for everything)
You can even check some markers to record and see your personal progress (good for Deity shrines, Chests, Braziers, etc...)

The Pindus brazier is a mistake on my part. ( I must have copy/pasted the icon and lost track of it :D )
The map I made on the Wiki is more accurate, and has all the real 15 positions :D
The one you're probably missing is way up north.
