Dark Forest is definitely the easiest. Just run up on the road, it will be right off the path on the left. Keep going north, after you cross the river continue north and again you'll find a tin 3 spot on the left side of the road.

Beware the area around the golden gate - you'll know it when you see it - it glows gold. There's a captain on the right there screaming NONE SHALL PASSSSSSSSSSSS

Ahhhh. Cool. I was there cleaning up the riff raff and getting darkwood/dark resin. Had no idea there was tin there. THANK YOU!

I have been up and down the road leading into the dark forest and up to the arch and have not seen one tin. Copper out the wazoo. Copper is everywhere, but not a single tin spot. Even went to the left side of the tree on the map, nothing. Is mine bugged??

Tin is located in the desert. Copper is in the dark forest.

Yes tin is now mostly in desert since the update but it is treacherous now because skeletons, however, there are 4 tin spots containing 15 ore each and equating a total of 60 tin ore outside the desert and nearer to the forgotten crossroads. Move south east from Aecus along the (Collumn looking mountains) that you see from crossroads, just east of apollo's shrine. The first will be seen almost immediatly as you depart south of the pond. Two more will be around where all that wildlife spawns. The fourth and farthest spot touches the edge of the forest opposite the collumns from crossroads; all on the south side.

did not find any tin in the dark forest or the desert all the spawns that were in the forest were changed to copper and as for the desert idk wtf is going on here but have not been able to find any

Granted the sand storms dont help but you must not be looking with much determination. One vein is directly west of the Northern most appolo brazier in the desert. The other is in line with the giant leviathan bones going towards the north. One other is on the south side close to the portal gateway. and the last is on the west side somewhere around that oasis.

Good luck, watch out for skeletons..

New Patch I just found a crap ton in the desert. lots of mobs defending them though.
