game not starting, verify then disk rite error

Ok i getting game not starting,so verify, it finds one file, it then tries fix it BUT then disk write error and then the "play" button in library is stuck on "resume" and it can't fix it. so i Uninstall to another drive (was on an old Hard disk drive F), new install to SSD drive "C", play game one time.
Next time go to play same thing, so is not a disk write problem.
When click on desktop shortcut nothing happens, or in library it ties for one second then says "Play" again instead of "running".... as if launcher is bad

every re install i can play one game only then one bad file that can't be repaired ; binaries\wwin64-shipping.exe

You need to clear the cache for downloads. Steam/downloads/clear download cache. Note sometimes Anti virus can give that same message. But my memory may be off. May need to completely uninstall the game. Clear download cache then redownload and install.

I'd try clearing the download cache first then verify files.

Hey Martin, were you able to start your game? Not sure about the one game only works after reinstall and unable to repair it, but sometimes launcher issues improve when you update EGS and then block connection in your firewall to EGS. Others have needed to uninstall EGS, then use the EpicOnlineServicesInstaller. If you're still encountering difficulties, let us know, we'd love to see how we can help you get in. BIG Thanks for your reply, still can't install, it does the full 5gig them disk write error, other steam games work ok. I did the clear cache/ log on too EGS (i guessed that just logging on would auto update EGS), will try with uninstall then re install EGS thing.

OK magic has happened .... i just tried resume again before try Uninstall EGS and it worked, finished the install and loads and play the game good now
