Dev Console and List of Useful Codes

To access the Dev Console click the ~ button then type ReleaseTheKraken and enter to activate. To see a full rundown of every code open the console (~) and then enter ' this will show you every single code but 99% are not player usable. Ignore the green codes and look through the purple codes. Here are the codes that seemed the most useful (note: if you are using these I suggest first saving the game so you can reload the save if you screw up.

I absolutely cannot get the setskilllevel command to work for me. Anything i maybe doing wrong?

The game is so easy (on normal mode) why would any of this be needed?

Me and a buddy started and played 3-5 hours, got off and on and the save seems to be corrupted, just wanted to get our things back to save the time of those couple of hours, being that we both have lives and jobs lol

If this happens again, let us know! We can see about restoring your saves and/or finding out what is causing the save issue. One thing maybe to note is some players have a hard time accessing saves when they launch from a quickbar or shortcut, rather than the Steam client. Just in case this is a method you use.

Thats great to hear! We enjoy the game enough we went ahead and just started a new save. I will ask if someone or you can answer how the setskill level command works. We were specifically spending alot of time grinding skills on the other save and just don't want to be redoing that.

I spoke with the team just to confirm, but we do not support the use of console commands. Commands were being rather informally shared at launch to work around a lack of creative mode (and it is also the only way to get a good screenshot at the moment), but generally, they don't work as intended and can break things rather quickly, so I cannot offer you any advice on getting the skill command to work since I'm not sure what problems it might cause for you!

Sorry about that! We're revisiting what world settings/tools can be officially added to reduce the want/use of console commands in the future.
