Is this a good port?
I owned and played JSRF extensively, but never owned JGR. Is this a playable port for mouse and keyboard? If not, is it playable with a 360 controller?

Jet Set Radio is a decent port (with a few extras thrown in for good measure). I, too, have owed JSRF (on an original Xbox) and I love both games but here are the facts when it comes to playing the JSR PC version.

One, it plays well with a keyboard and mouse EXCEPT when you start the graffiti tags. It does not work well with a keyboard and mouse so have a contoller ready if you do not want to deal with some frustration.

Two, this is not JSRF so do not expect the epic openness that future had. There are some open areas in missions that you will play but it is mostly linear until you get to the end of the game. Still a fun game though.

And finally, you remember all of those awesome music tracks that Future had? Well, prepare to be blown away because the music in JSR is INCREDIBLE. Remember when I mentioned extras? Well, we you play JSR, you will unlock bonus music from Future! They can be listened to from the bonus section on the main menu.

P.S. - It plays perfectly well on an Xbox 360 controller. = )

I've already downloaded the full OST from both games (Hideki Naganuma is awesome), and I owned JSRF on the original Xbox. These "extras" you speak of sound interesting, though. I'll put this game on my wishlist and pick it up if it goes on Daily Deal or Flash Sale by the end of the Summer Sale. I like saving money. If it doesn't go on flash again, I'll probably pick it up on the last day of the sale.

Don't worry, I never owned JGR, but we rented the game once so I have seen it before. Hopefully JSRF will also get on Steam at some point. Before you ask, I already signed the iPetition for it.

Thanks for the reply!
