However, it's not a true sequel. JSRF is a remake of this game, with a few additions like remixing and such. Both games are good!
+It's TONS more colorful. like - TONS.
+You can create your own graffiti, even import images as graffiti if you have the right program.
+It's actually on steam
-No boosting. Everything is based off of momentum rather than speed.
*Spray painting is a little bit different. instead of spraying three, five, or seven little sections in a row for large paintings, you need to perform certain joystick movements in order depending on the painting's size and your character's graffiti skill.
*Tricks are different too. They don't grant you any speed and you don't do tricks on command. Instead, you automatically get points off of grinding and you do tricks automatically after jumping while moving at a fast speed. Basically: If you're going downhill or going a decent speed on a rail, you need to jump to perform a midair trick.
I'm sure there's more i'm forgetting, but like I said, I haven't played JSRF myself (Correct me if I'm wrong on any of these points) I plan to in the near future. However, I'm pretty sure I covered some of the major differences. And don't worry, this game is still amazing. You won't be dissappointed if you've played JSRF before and liked it.
Levels are not interconnected like sort of a world to explore like Future is. With levels feeling like a traditional choose this level and complete the objective sort of deal.
Graffiti in Future is streamlined while in the original you do joystick motions on the big graffiti tags.
The game is still fun regardless but if you played Future first like I did it's kind of annoying to play with the inferior controls. I still enjoy the gameplay and music and style of the game.
Also enemies are alot more of a threat in this game.
