With the new(ish) Genetics Lab and Training Facility upgrades to the ship that lets us swap perks around and buff our clones, you can still get those other classes up to speed, if not exceed their previous baked in limits though.
Scouts of Hades are good in general. They feel stronger early game, as they don't require any specific weapon, but late game you'll be better off putting SoH perks on specialist classes or specialist perks on SoH.
Pheonix Brigade require fire/beam weapons to shine, which aren't sustainable early game.
Ghosts require beam/energy weapons to shine, which aren't sustainable early game.
Eclipse Blades requires good melee, which is tricky until you have armor, healing, and merc upgrades.
Pact requires quasi shennanigans.
