do you change weapon/armo in mission a lot?
i often dont exit with the same gun i enter with, simply because their is no bullet for it, or it just broke down after doing a quick fix too many time.
more rarely with armor except if i find a better suit

is it the same for you?

hi i usually like utilising the enemy's weapon and ammo where possible, but also sometimes scrapping the ammo to craft what my main guns need, if theres a crafting machine around - it also saves on durability of my main guns, but sometimes you just have to go with the flow :)

one thing i used to do was scrap any extra guns i found, to get spare parts etc, but now i try to drop 1 of each new gun type on the floor, just in case i run out of ammo and need to start using it :)

I try to bring plenty. You know you will use up the ammo, so no need to worry about having a few extra inventory slots of it.

But I won't hesitate to make use of similar guns/ammo as I find them.

I usually bring my whole loadout with me, only switching up ammo when needed, and even that is not often.
Depends on the stage of the game and build being used, but the need to do so always reduces so long as you end your missions with more than you brought into them. In the early game, you need to scrounge everything you possibly can. By mid-game, bringing sufficient ammo, food, and/or medical supplies ought not be an issue and you should have an idea of how much of each you should bring against each faction in each bramfatura (or lack thereof) for any given mission. Even later on, it's possible (even with 'auto-repair after mission' off) to have sufficient assets to keep mid- or high-tier equipment fully repaired for every mission.
