Sometimes when I kill a dude from outside the ideal weapon range, others nearby will get a ? above their heads and go investigate the body without immediately aggroing on to me and it lets me switch to SPEED MODE and run in to gut them before they can react, saving precious weapon durability and ammunition.
Other times I stab a dude from behind and suddenly a conga line of sh.it'ems will start pouring out of a room halfway across the map from behind me and I get a train run on me.
I wouldn't be able to tell, it happens in literally every mission. Patrol or static encounter, it makes no difference since there aren't really any looping paths or alternate paths you can use to play stealthy and avoid them, not to mention there's no way to detect where a patrol is... uh, patrolling. Nor any way to hide from them if they do pass your way. I tried using the Door Locking function but there's no way to unlock them without destroying them, which either draws enemies to the gunfire it seems, or just forces me to waste ammo and durability I could have used killing the dudes instead. And locking doors was completely useless on 2 star and above, even as a way to try and limit the amount of enemies that can approach you since the sheer number of dudes they have at that point and beyond meant the door would get annihilated within 2 turns tops.
- If you kill a guy in a room with others guys who doesn't see you right in the moment with a loud gun, first they all draw they attenton to the corpse, without immediate aggroing you
- Npc now will enter low-alert state when they spot a corpse, and even can follow the blood trail which leads to you, but whose who does this can be absolutely armless workers without any sense of self-preservation
- Npcs now utilize different fire-mods, now they shoot one shot from a distance with submachine guns, and bursts with capable shotguns, last of which often leads to near-death situations
- Quasimorphs now can despawn when they e-collapse, kill somebody and then there is no enemies in their vicinity
