Experiencing a bug, looking for a solution

On my most recent save, I finished a mission like normal, then save and quit the game, then closed out to my desktop, but when I came back later to play on said save and after clicking on my save to load it the game gives me an infinite black screen with the title theme continuously playing and leaving me unable to interact with the game. One thing I did notice is that unlike my other saves, the save in question shows my cargo inventory being open in the preview image, I feel like this may tie into the bug but I am unsure of how to get past the black screen. I'd appreciate any advice or possible solutions.

No, completely unmodified

Do you know steps to reproduce the bug?
Please, do the following:

1. Load any of your bugged saves.
   
2. If it doesn't load - press Alt+F4.
   
3. Launch the game.
   
4. In the main menu press "Report a bug". Put there your steam nickname, slot number, and describe your issue. Add steps to reproduce the bug.
