How to get gear from "my" faction?
I am siding with SBN, RealWare.

I am in good relations with them, and I want some of the items they have unlocked.

The only way I can think of getting equipment of my allies is killing them...

I would like to be able to buy it/getting it as a reward or something.

Also what is the % in the items of the tech tree? The reward chance? The spawn chance on their soldiers?

If it's the reqrd chance I'm still going to kill them I guess, because I am not doing 30 missions for a single set of armor.

Am I missing some way of getting the equipment? I find it weird that helping one faction I am constantly equiped as the factions I fight against instead of beeing able to get my hands on some equipment that doesn't involve killing someone first.

Tech tree items is stuff you get as reward fod going jobs for them, anything not awarded you can still spend as Dignitas on their markets.

So basically it's "impossible" to get the armor set of a faction I am helping?

Like, if I have a 12% chance of getting one piece. Quick math, you have to do about 30 missions to have a 50/50 chance of getting the set?

In 30 missions, I think it's more likely that you get the armor set from boxes and random loot than from the actual rewards...

There are chips to unlock faction's items for crafting on higher tech levels. Not perfect but still.
Chances are a bit misleadong, it is not chance per mission reward, but chance per roll, and you can have as many roll as mission reward allows
The bigger the reward from mission, the higher chance that you'll get some expensive piece of armor/weapon or 2 or 3 or more.
For 30 mission you will likely end up with 4-5 sets or armor
But yeah, if you want to farm it more reliably you will need to actually fight them

We plan to re-add faction gear into the barter system. But for now you can get it only from faction troops or rewards.
And yes, if there are not enough reward points then you won't receive expensive gear. The price of an item is the yellow number in the right upper corner of its tooltip.

Trade with your factions for the items you want, do a little math but usually a 10.000 point trade is recommanded to get the nice stuff, 10 trades of 1000 each might get only junk.
Also, do a mission against them with a tunnel rat, they can have faction chips on them
