the extraction shooter, just basically means you play a mission, you shoot up some bad guys etc, and you end the mission, (picking up useful items before you end or extract from the mission)
this style is a top-down, 2D version of it,
and tarkov is a 3d (fps) version of it :)
edit: the key word here is that you need to successfully extract, (and survive the mission) to be able to use what you found during the mission.
(but even if you die you can still replay it and get your starting gear/basic kit back)
Same here but without PVP, the game is turn-based, and levels are randomly generated. Also Quasimorph has a little bit of a simulation around you: stations produce and consume goods, items change their price depending on supply and demand, factions grow stronger with time (or your help).
