I dont think a single pistol really shine with any class (except maybe beam /plasma pistol).. there is a clone that get+40% accuracy on pistol but no class really shine with pistol
or due to niko native high accuracy with pistol you can do training with athletics
excess accuracy turn into crit rate
so you have in best case scenario you have natural 5% crit, extra 15% if you use all 3 weapon slot for pistol because of backup weapon perk, most pistol have 25% base acc that will automatically convert to crit, finally you add the bullet crit chance
basicaly niko love all the crit damage buff or more acc bonus until 100% crit chance
hope you spend some point on niko crit damage
for good pistol galand ultim is easily upgradeable, you can open a door then sprint shoot and nobody will notice
expansive and explosive ammo is your friend for pistol
or starlock adp, that thing hits hard when crit especially if you do custom class with reinforced ammo and blind fury
eagle st 13 with 10 levels in damage and rubber ammo can clear mercury quasimorph mission for you
scorpion is kinda fun to use, but better have blueprint since they easily break
enigma for backup weapon when ammo runs out
or if you lucky to get your hands on whip, tremor or hel trinity gotta try these bad boy on niko
and if you can upgrade aep alpha enough you win the game
I found many handguns look and feel nice but destroy themselves so quickly and don't feel bad per se, it's just that smgs and ar seem to just outperform and be easier to use thanks to larger clips.
galand is lovely but beats itself up and has very low clip size
scorpion just poops all over itself with its low durability and high rate of fire.
I feel like short of investing a lot of resources into those weapons, going beam feels like a better play
phoenix brigade seems like a good fit not just for energy weapons but also incendiary ammo on the other handguns, so you're not boxed in one thing
