Zeus can be fueled with elerium and work with Battery damage perk, also you can reload it so it work with tactical reload in case of custom class
otherwise i will try to find Crusher because damage type and it can attack multiple times
for anything base i go to moon quasimorph and search for druggur's
Razor is rng blueprint but mostly from ancom or coreward

For other melee choices, you can see a list down here: https://quasimorph.wiki.gg/wiki/Weapons
Just no what? I was simply saying you can get your hands on some of the best melee weapons in the very early game, that's all.
Razor's dandy, but comes much later in the game, and double hit still incurs 10% accuracy penalty and a sizeable dmg penalty per hit 12% to min and 11% to max dmg, and a lower base durability, meaning double hitting that on the base item makes it beats itself down real quickly.
So it's a great weapon with greater potential, provided you are at the point in the game where it drops, where you have the ship upgrades to improve it, where you have unlocked the actual recipe to craft it, where you have enough resources to throw at it to make it significantly outclass something you can just loot pretty much on day 2. /shrug
OP has at the time of writing less than 7h play time and their question wasn't really to debate who's got the biggest, just to see if melee had a lot of choice and where to get those.
not sure and can't look it up at the moment, but my money is on no, it's obtainable at lvl 1 from coreward so probably bottom tier
Without upgrades its all about looting. No need to make friends, just grab all melee stuff and stuck into shuttle. Fuel/battery consuming tools are more powerfull overall cause they have multihit modes and pack a punch. Said crusher and also chainsaw from any industrious workforce group like Coreward. Civ-res rocks those tools too but also adds powerfist.
Without ammo consumption its morphs weapons. Duggur (Moon) of course but if throwing when needed is desired its Gannix (Venus). All can be looted from spawning morphs at any tec level so no need to help Tez in overtaking world or trying to stop him. Just go into missions in those bramfaturas and kill stuff phasing in.
Razors are somewhat common in missions against SBNs espionage cause some agents cary those even if corporation has no tec/power. If blueprint (green item chip) happen its a bit of a breakthrough but overall this items is full extent of games melee and it gets more and more difficult to pull off as game intensify at which point 'melee' means 4-burst shotgun.

That last bit came out kinda wrong. Melee stays relevant for quite a while and is great tool to dispose of slow-ish (speed 1-2) enemies. Upgrades give it a bit of second life against tankier enemies and specially when it comes to disposing quasimorph outbreaks without eating through all your ammo.
Its just not worth to work for corp to get bundles of knifes and hatchets.
Only exeption might be Franche with its prisoner stun baton Zeus Lur Nen Rue spoke of. Its cool cause its Shock and everything shock stunlocks into oblivion. With buffed damage it would be real menace.
(or you know - Grasshoppers provide Minigun that also uses batteries and shock. but its minigun)
