Where to go after Mars
Where should I go after Mars?

Missions on Mars are easy but elsewhere are a lot harder: any suggestions?

Thank you

All the new asteroid belts have very easy Quasimorphs with few AP and mainly melee enemies, but they have fewer assets aside from Ceres which is a great zone that depending on the time can be a 16 day hop from Mars. from Main system Mercury is probably easiest.

Try adapting to Duggur - Moon and its orbiting station Fuller. Those morphs are overall slow and while they often cary fearsome nailguns their armor provide plenty of pierce resistance so should you go in naked (without armor) and scavenge full Gothic set + helmet you'll have 50%+ pierce res which is usually enough to walk into random crossbow wielding Magn and eat shot without dying. Which you should not do - all weapon wielders have 1AP speed.

Main threat there are highest tier spawns - 3AP melee chariots. Kill them with auto shotgun (weak to Cut, Beam and Cold) and Duggur is opened wide for you to scavenge good early-mid game ranged weapons (said nailthrowers) and not worry much about Ruptures cause their baron is complete pushover.
Just dont start fresh floor at 700+ morphosis so you wont have to fight against every enemy transformed and rushing at you as one.

+1 for moon, and the quasimorph boss is a push over, shot guns do good (cut) on him as well and i think beams do too.

I wouldn't do the moon personally. I lost an agent of like 40 successful missions up to power difficulty 5k to a single 1 click from a moon quasimorph. Literally 155 hp and strong resistences, dead, single shot from across a long hallway while behind hard cover. Wasn't even a note worthy enemy, was a type I had killed like 15 times before it happened. lol

Id go to the belt before I went to the moon if i was him. The majority of the moon is as they say, fairly easy, but theres enough "rage bait" on the moon that I'd recommend staying away until you get comfortable with the possibility of eating dirt. Ceres was a good recommendation imo, most of the earlier wave quasis are slow moving melee dudes with limited resistances, almost anything works just fine on em.

Mercury quasimorphs are weak to blunt damage and you'll probably have a surplus of pistol ammo by the time you feel like moving past Mars. Make sure you have a reliable 9mm SMG and beam armor in case you run into a staff wielder. The big green head things explode into acid when you kill them so keep your distance, if you can deal with that and the 3AP flying heads (which you should just use burst fire on instead of risking missing) Mercury is a good first step from Mars.

Depends on what you use as your main weapon, or if you have a themed class like Tunnel Rats and their shotguns. Duggur (Moon) is weak to cut (shotgun ammo) while Shartamakhum (Mercury) or Scrivnus (Geist/Interamina) is weak to blunt (SMG's default ammo) while Tez (Venus) is weak to Pierce (Rifle)/beam (Lasers usually).
