Where to get Tunnel Rats

Not to sound like a noob, but since The Dragon Reborn update launched I have not found the Tunnel Rats chip. I have worked for various factions on most difficulties on most planets and I still have not found it on 5+ New Games.

I think it is totally random
U only can keep farming until it exist
I pick up a lot of chip and half of them r recurring

It is random. Took me allmost a year (might be more) to get last class unlocked.

The class chips are pretty rare now... Which is fine I guess considering there are only 4 classes to unlock.

Look at the different companies, they show what loot (and % chance) they give when trading, doing missions. There are factions that can give chips as rewards.

you can also get chips as a trade item, I just unlocked tunnel rats in my current save from trading with grasshopper technical

I usually find them by trade. What I have done is hobnob with a company that offers them as a reward (since that also means, unless I'm mistaken, they'll trade them to you too) and drop like 500 units of trade (the number underneath the bar that appears before you exchange the items permanently), since the various chips I believe cost around 200 each.
