The "Glory" set in total has low cold resistance (16?) - this is not enough when a projectile from quasimorph rifles hits ~20-30, excluding crit (and frostbite increases the chance of taking a critical hit), and will only save against their pistols (10-20). It is better to use the Frame (by Daydream or from some enemies), Pattern Shadow set (by AnCom), or at least the robes from the Church of Revelation - they will provide high resistance to cold to survive a volley or two or even more.
As a weapon, I recommend using SBN or Church energy weapons (those that do not require ammunition), because they inflict penetrating damage, to which quasimorphs from Venus have no resistance. For example, I really liked the SBN shotgun, and it appears quite quickly. Therefore, as an operative, I recommend taking Francis and 0-2 repair kits in case the enemies do not drop shards for repairs. You also save space in your inventory for loot :)
You should also beware of the emerald maidens, because they attack 3 times, and their melee weapons cause enormous damage and can amputate a limb with a blow (including the head, chest, torso, so it can potentially oneshot you) even with high resistances. Exercise extreme caution when going nto rooms and around corners, and don't shy away from destroying doors or walls from a distance, as they may be waiting for you in ambush.
And take some food
1) get out of his sight around the corner/door.
2) break the distance by more than 6 cells - they don’t shoot that far.
3) take better cover. It's better to hide behind a concrete shelter or a heavy box than behind a shelf or chair - this will reduce the number of prayers you need to say so that you don't get hit ;)
4) no shelter? your legs are broken and you can’t run around the corner? Take out your most powerful weapon, turn your rifle/shotgun/smg on full-auto and press the trigger! Maybe the enemy dies before its turn or gets stunned. No? My condolences.
The point I'm trying to make here is, even without armor, generally no enemy will kill you in one action when you are full HP. Usually not even in 2 unless it's burst attacks and again, no armor. 16 armor is not a lot, but it's not nothing either, generally with 30 you get close to no damage from most weapons which means 16 should still mitigate a significant amount and the rifle which fires 2 shots per action should never be anywhere near killing the player with a single action, even more so with 16 armor. This is so far the only struggle I've had (other than consistently getting decent backpacks) with the game and it's completely out of tune with the rest of the game. I literally go through 4 skull missions and even with demonic presence so long as those guns don't come into play, I can deal with it, even with letting the incursion max out I can still kill all the demons and the boss when he finally shows. This gun has a completly disproportional amount of damage to everything else and needs to be addressed.
Also it is kinda hard to know who to work for because there is no way of knowing what are the full reward list for each faction. There should be a resource like an in game enciclopedia that tells what every faction trades/offers at max rank.

but if i go up against teztclan, i usually swap out the helmet or boots for something that gives cold and poison protection, (but usually only swap to it when fighting ranged quasis, or spiders, because usually its the melee quasi's which do the most damage in my early games so far.
Did you try 'Carnage Pattern' armor?
Haven't seen that armor drop yet.
16 resist in blunt/pierce/cut/fire/cold/beam for body and pants. 14 for helmet and boots.
Its RealWare armor that shows up when the corp reaches like 20k power.
Which means that I am nowhere near that. The highest any corp has right now is 3.5K, they are barely starting to unlock the second tier of gear and it's only 1 or 2 corps doing it. I also have no idea which corps to farm because I have absolutely no way of knowing the rewards for any specific corp so I've been going at the ones that give the only thing that matters right now, 3 row backpacks because without loot there is no progression.
Still, I don't think demons with these guns should be spawning so early. The moment they show up the player is dead, if we try to run, they move just as fast and eventually we run out of cover and then we die. This is not counting the times you go around a corner and there is on there that immediatly claps you.
Yes, the player can suffer his way up, constatly losing gear every time one of those demons appears but I think it would a much more enjoyable experience for everyone if guns that oneshot the player were not involved in the game until the player actually has the abillity to resist being killed that easily.
Or atleast it should make cause Nobilis fell apart from 2-3 bursts of shotgun pistol despite cut deffence 20. Wonder if it actually applies.
