Story and Mars Quasimorphs

So I finished some of the story surrounding Mars and Realware, and I Unleashed the quasimorphs on Mars.

These dudes are totally insane - does anyone at all have any tips on how to fight these guys? Because they're kicking my teeth down my throat.
Also, is there a point to fighting them much? So far, each of the types of quasimorph fauna have cool/decent gear you can get off of them.

Use energy weapons, Spitter or quasimorphic rifles. There's no point fighting them, as they don't drop anything on death, including the baron. It's really just easier to bring a lot of alcohol and naloxone to keep the q-meter low.

Thanks for the answer. That's a bit disappointing to hear that they don't have any good drops. I guess it's just better to avoid getting that far in the story then?

I mean yeah, finishing the story only gives you one very good weapon and that's about it. If you want to keep the gameplay easier on Mars than best leave the last mission well alone.

if you want easier stuff than dont activate them, if you want a challenge then go for it. there is no better or worse, its just what you want
