Teztclan taking over the whole damn galaxy
So uhh, basically title
I've tried doing some missions agaisn't them and to say those did not end well is an understatement. And while i was sucking up to realware for the gear, the funnymorphs have taken over so many stations that they are 40k power while the rest average 3 to 6k
Is the situation going to ever change naturally or am i just gonna have to nut up and try to take those contracts?

Teztclan gives two missions at the same time which is twice more than other factions

I don't think it's going to change naturally at this point

Right, i'm just wondering how fun it'l be if i end up dying a bunch of times and loose most of my gear, to not have any easier missions to deal with
guess i'm just gonna go and get spanked by them

If you read the mission debriefings after each succession, Operations Management usually conveys what the response of one side or the other will be. For instance, if you complete a Defense mission, OM usually says something along the lines of 'Since Faction X did not succeed in their overt assault here, they will probably change their tactics and focus on assassinations and sabotage instead until they feel confident enough to try another overt attack.'

Likewise, if you check the periodic stock updates that pop up in the lower lefthand corner of the screen, the game will occasionally tell you that 'X Faction is focusing on doing this kind of thing (Scouting, Attacking, etcetera) right now.'

You, as the player, can directly influence this through which missions you decide to take for whatever factions, and this will have an impact on the balance of power in the Solar System.

Teztclan starts the game off with more influence and power than the other factions - so if you leave Testclan alone and do nothing but mess with the other factions, over time that means Teztclan is going to eclipse everybody else. The same holds true of every other faction, it's just that since they start off on worse footing than Teztclan it takes longer to notice.

This does not mean you HAVE to fight Teztclan. The logical alternative is to JOIN with Teztclan. Take their missions, subscribe to their stock feed, start doing regular trade with them. This will weaken every other faction gradually over time.

I mean you're not necesseraly wrong, but that just means that the last few stations that realware for example owns are gonna eventually get taken aswell
but there's really not many options besides that, outside of fighting sbn instead since there's constantly fighting beetween those two

They won't since Realware owns assets on Earth and Earth never has missions

Humans are overrated anyway. Join Teztclan. Help Quasimorphs. Worship Quasimorphs. Become Quasimorph.
My advice is to start a new save. Being able to manage it if you die is a lie, as faction power always grow so if you dont have the good items and lose your class levels youre forever stuck in the mud. Especially Tezclan, as they very frequently initiate takeovers of stations. The number of enemies in a map scales with faction power, more advanced mobs scale with faction tech level. Therefore if you dont take contracts to cull the quasimorphs starting from early on in the game, they will eventually grow so much that any mission you take against them will have way too many mobs and way too dangerous enemies for you to handle. Moreover, since other factions are crippled you can't easily get good rewards from them, while taking contracts for Tezclan yields trash rewards.

Yeah i didnt really read into the game before starting, and frankly somewhat ignored the faction powers when starting out as i had no idea that teztclan would grow so fast
I just started a new run and i've went out of my way of doing as many contracts with them as i can early on, since it's still manageable without having to use their weapons due to just running out of ammo/weapon durability too fast

Yea, quasimorphs missions are quite manageable, and even profitable if you do them early on. The bs one shot mobs dont spawn yet and you can easily farm the quasimorph bosses.

I've found that in a pinch Mars/Deimos/Phobos are usually always low-key enough in terms of difficulty that you can bootstrap back up to a salvageable state even working with only the insurance package. Having Tunnel Rats unlocked as a class helps of course, and being able to handle rooms full of 8+ Human enemies at once also helps. If you are late enough in the game, you even get the added bonus of just being able to find late-game loot like BREAK THE PACT just randomly lying around.
