New player tips
Ssseth released a video about Quasimoprh, and since I have some hours in the game myself, I figured I'd give some tips for beginners:

-Moving while crouched saves on calories, running burns calories faster
-Wear armor with at least some fire resistance. Impactor armor is a great early-to-mid game armor
-You can amputate cyborgs for computer parts
-After you get the hang of combat, calorie management will become a hurdle.
-Raw meat should only be eaten in desperation because it has chance of infection
-If you have a flamethrower/thermal grenade/you're near an explosive barrel and need to eat raw meat, drop raw meat on the ground and shoot/throw/rupture the barrel near it. After the fire dissipates, the raw meat will be cooked - no chance of infection and better calorie gain
-Try to avoid defense missions unless you have a turret or two; never try a defense mission without turrets unless you have good gear and tons of ammo
-Look at what type of wound you have in the health menu when healing: bandages are best used for pierce wounds, splints are best for fractures, medical glue is good for burns and frostbite (and everything else, really)
-Infection/Poison increases by percentages until you reach 100%, where you are then considered fully infected/poisoned. Take antibiotics at any time to remove infection (even when fully infected), use sorbent at up to 20% infection rate to remove infection (or else it'll only remove 20% from the infection meter) and at up to 40% poisoning to remove poison. Antidote removes poison completely
-Only use morphine when you desperately need to drop quasimorph level or you are near death; it has an addiction chance that will act like infection does when you are addicted. Only an antidote or health station cures it, or another morphine shot resets the counter: all of these items are rare to find.
-Try to avoid fighting the Tezcltan; their cold-based weapons are a real ♥♥♥♥♥ to fight against at any level
-If you DO fight Tezcltan, use a sniper character to keep your distance
-9mm and fire do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to cyborgs: shotguns or 7.62 rounds are preferred
-melee is only viable in specific builds, but can be absurdly strong and resource-efficient
-weapon parts can repair weapon durability, but doing so lowers your max durability
-all equipment is repaired automatically when you finish a mission
-never use the flamethrower or buzzsaw gun. They are terrible to use and often leads to your own demise.
-Okay I just lied; you CAN use the flamethrower, but ONLY as Percy with the Phoenix class
-Tunnel Rats and Scouts of Hades are the best classes. Eclipse Blades and Phoenix Brigade are situational. Rest are forgettable (IMO).

Feel free to add more tips, and good luck playing. Odds are you're gonna rage quit many times lol.

Dont stash your arsenal in first tab of Cargo. Mission rewards go there and if you didnt use Sort after taking gear for mission good luck finding new stuff in heaps of everything.

Tunnel rat class has skill that levels on getting infected. Infection from eating raw meat Dont count.

hi here's a tip i learned the hard way :)

the new Mines are also triggered not just if stepped on, but if you walk within 1 tile, so careful if you place near a door thinking you can just walk on by :)

You need a non-blunt melee weapon, any knife or axe will do.

DasTactic has a pretty good beginner tips video. Changing stance to make the most of your action points has been a game changer for me.

No, only via missions. But if you find a chip (data, class, mind) you could evacuate without completing your mission.

Ty!
How would I get more ammo? I've done two Mars missions and found a chip for 7.97 production ammo, but I dont see a use button for it.

Also with bartering (using wiki as example). For Mercury - FLAT OBSIDIAN, are those items they'd want FROM me or are those items offered TO me?

can you only trade the items the factions want or can you give others for less points. also where to find ammo as i lost my first run because i literally had none after several missions.

When you are on your ship: RMB click - unlock. Then you'll be able to craft it.
To get gun powder just disassemble ammo you don't need.

In station description it shows things they buy from you.
To see what factions may give you open Stock Exchange in the left bottom corner of the screen.

Stations will take only what they ask from you.
Loot your enemies for ammo or take more stacks with you on a mission.

No like I literally ran out of ammo on my ship. Even the bad kind. Though I think I lost it due to taking to many church contracts in a row, as they kept spamming possessed and hulks over ranger fighters.

If you died look for a green case in your storage, it will give you some 9mm.
Or you can trade for anything, factions in barter give more consumables.
If you don't have unlocked recipes for ammo but have some weapons - you can craft them. For now they are crafted with ammo.

Speaking stances. When doing sneak open door, switch to run, step in and shoot, step out routine i several times had enemy i shot just shoot me in return even though i had action left. Is it intended retaliation/anticheeze mechanic or bug?
