No crafting bench in the magnum?
We found crafting bench somewhat everywhere we go on mission, allow to craft useful tools but why there is none in the magnus? it could be useful to make weapon or armor repair kit even if it need time ot craft like every other craft on the spaceship

Well you can craft stuff over a period of time on the magnum.

A decent chunk of missions have crafting benches right at the landing zone, so you can land with stuff to make grenades, bandages, and splints, and just craft them on the spot if you want.

You can craft repair kits and weapons on Magnum - just find the right item chip (the blue ones) first.

Speaking blue chips, are those completely randomised or tied to group we are trading/working/plundering?

Then i can keep on trading armor plates and wire for ~15% chip chance. Nice.

You can't craft repair kits with the bench anymore after the x-mas patch. also no more frags and napalm grenades either, only molotovs ant pipe-bombs

hi if you have a lot of spare chips, you might be able to find a faction with a higher percentage of getting a blue chip. (in one of my games it was worth flying around a bit, to get about 30% chance)

Yep, those were really nice but their tec level grew and now its 10-15%. With how good having recipes is supporting some groups ends up detrimental. Think those were Daydream chem and some else... church of stiff drinks? Then everyone commissioned tec appropriation from Tezctlan and now they sit at ~4k.
4-5k tec and 400-500 power. Missions against them are quite funny. Their interns cary shivs in hand and energy weapon batteries or gun repair kits in pockets. And random plasma guns lay on the ground.

oh, i forgot about the diluting of percentages with tech :) my newer game still has the factions on lower tech, while i hunt for a lovely replacement Grenade Launcher
