Suddenly burning even just one turn on an unexpected movement is so incredibly dangerous in this game.
I do understand you want a way to prevent the whole oh I accidentally click on a object and now I am surrounded by 5 enemies with one 1 to no turns left.
Sneaking is a soft fix to it.
Yeah, adding a toggle for it or something would be nice, I guess? But you can already auto-path through closed doors, and auto-path right up to the door itself. There's just no good use for it.
Put simply: I don't want the tool which inspects things at a distance to also randomly make me WALK ACROSS THE ROOM instead, REGARDLESS of circumstance.
Same for looting tall shelves instead of shooting enemy behind it. Pixel hunt at its finest.
I'd much prefere this auto interactions require pressed ALT like we use CTRL to walk without looting while normal clicks would bring up menue to choose action.
Well, vice versa it would work too. If pressed ALT made left click bring up menue instead of immediately starting action it would solve this door and loot issue.
edit: for the shelves, i have also struggled a bit to mouse over and click on an item on the floor, which is directly behind a shelf. but i think the best quick fix would be to simply make the shelf gfx 25% shorter and not as tall :)
