I found this when I trade with one of the corp. What does it do?

which faction gave it to you? it removes the special ability you get from beating quasi bosses, allowing you to install another i presume.

I seem to recall seeing this as a quest/trade item in some places, but cannot recall where. I just found my first one, not sure yet what I'll do with it... but it's coming with me, that's for sure.
