That said I will whole heartedly recommend playing Judgment first before Lost Judgment. Its an excellent game that I suggest everyone. Also the story of Judgment is better than Lost Judgment imo. Also playing judgment before lost judgment will make you appreciate the combat of lost judgment.
I cannot speak for whether this games suits your tastes or not but if you are having any doubts, maybe check out any random boss/mission fight from the game on youtube. If it intrigues you then heck yeah else it will feel boring to you. Cheers.
No, they both use Dragon Engine. Same engine as Kiwami 2, Y6 and Like a Dragon. It's just that LJ combat is much more refined.
First Judgment is fire though, like the story feels very personal to every main casts. And the final fight and cutscene is poggers. OP if you read this, recommended you played in chronology cuz Judgment game combat is very refine compared to Yakuza series
Do not play this before Judgement. Judgement's combat sucks at the start but unlock the speed boost skill asap, it helps. By the time you have half your skills it feels fine, aside from the wonkyness of the dragon engine (which LJ improved).
