Kaito Files not free anymore?

It says that it should be free if the entire Judgment Collection is purchased, and there's nothing on it being a timed/temporary thing.

But on the page for the bundle, the DLC's price is also being lumped in and inflating the entire thing.

Their own tweets when the games launched said that Kaito Files would be free if purchased as a part of the bundle, you can check them yourself. There was nothing about it being a timed or temporary offer.

Even so, a lot of people complained about the same issue as I did even back then, that the bundle price was inflated and there was no sign of Kaito being free.

There's literally no mention of it just being launch promotion or pre-order bonus or whatever, I already mentioned that. The only message was "free with bundle".

It's still free. Outside of sales. If you buy the collection, you get ~28-29% discount aka the price of Kaito DLC.

However on sales, the discount for collection doesn't go cheaper much so if you buy the collection, you're paying only slightly less than if you buy 3 items separately on sale.
It's because games are discounted 30-35% from original price (aka 0%), while collection bundle is discounted merely 37% from original 28-29%.

the collection's price is normally 98,77€, making the kaito files essentialy free. it's just the steam sale that messes up the "normal price" of the collection atm.

That's what the issue was after all, thanks for the clarity. Still stupid of them to fumble the price of the bundle and not adjust accordingly for sales/discounts though.
